Design
The 5.5A2 is a 2-way in-ceiling speaker, part of the comprehensive Architectural Series, which consists of high-quality speakers at astonishingly affordable prices.

A special feature of the 5.5A2 speaker is its shape, which matches in-ceiling light fittings commonly used in kitchens. It has a long basket and lowered grille, available in black and white, allowing integration into virtually any contemporary environment where relaxing background music is desired. The 5.5A2 is the only speaker with this special lowered grille.

The 5.5A2 is recommended for use in relatively small rooms; like the other Architectural series models, it delivers rich, clear sound reproduction.

With its interchangeable black and white grilles, the 5.5A2 is designed to blend seamlessly into the ceiling―so all you notice is the remarkably detailed, great sound.

Technology
This 7.8-inch diameter speaker is recommended for small rooms or those with lower ceilings. The 5.5A2 delivers bass from its 5.25-inch woofer, and crystal clear reproduction of high frequencies from the .75-inch titanium dome tweeter.

The 5.5 A2 is the smallest speaker in this line, but its unique lowered grille makes it a stylish addition to any contemporary room.
